Pro-Tech started to provide consulting services in October 1984. The owner, Dr. Giri has been active in the area of electromagnetic theory and applications and has published widely in recognized technical journals such as IEEE Transactions (Electromagnetic Compatibility, Antennas and Propagation), Radio Science, Electromagnetics, etc. Dr. Giri is a LIFE FELLOW of IEEE, Member of Commissions B and International Chair of Commission E of URSI and a few other professional organizations. He has an excellent working relationship with researchers in the field in Universities and private industry. Reputed consultants are available to Pro-Tech as the need arises to broaden the capability. Dr. Giri has also taught undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of EECS at the University of California, Berkeley Campus.

Dr. Giri has consulting agreements with several Defense Contractor companies. The proprietor, Dr. Giri, considers himself a self-employed Consulting Scientist.
